The Best Learn to Play Hockey program on the planet!! Program director is former NHL player and current Junior Railers Director of Hockey Operations Bobby Butler. His staff of experienced coaches will focus on FUNdamental skills such as power skating, shooting, stick handling, passing and team play.
Boys and Girls ages 4 and up.
Learn to Play is designed to transition your player from Learn to Skate to organized team hockey.
When can I join?
Full season Learn to Play runs from September 17, 2022 to April 2, 2023 but you can sign up anytime. Prorated tuition is available, just contact us when you’re ready to join!
Full season LTP will include approximately (25) Saturday and (25) Sunday Ice Sheets.
No class on 9/24, 9/25, 10/23, 10/29, 10/30, 11/20, 12/25, 1/14, 1/15
Practices and Games
Junior Railers Learn to Play follows the USA Hockey American Development Model and includes both group skills practices and inter-squad scrimmages.
Practices and Scrimmages are typically Saturday at 8:50 AM and Sunday at 9:20 AM at Worcester Ice Center.

American Development Model
The American Development Model is a nationwide model for successfully developing American hockey players. It is a tool that will ensure every kid will have a great chance to succeed. The ADM is a nationwide blueprint designed specifically to help kids reach their full potential.
JERSEYS and Equipment
All players will receive a Junior Railers reversible game jersey at their first practice. All players must wear full hockey equipment including a helmet with a facemask.

Full season Learn to Play Hockey tuition is $600 for the 2022-2023 Hockey Season. A $100 Non-Refundable deposit is due by credit card at the time of registration.
The credit card provided will be charged $100 on the 1st of each month, beginning November 1, 2021 with the balance due March 1, 2022.
