23-24 Learn to Play Hockey

The Best Learn to Play Hockey program on the planet!! Program director is former NHL star and current Junior Railers Director of Hockey Operations Bobby Butler. His staff of experienced coaches will focus on FUNdamental skills such as power skating, shooting, stick handling, passing and team play.
Ages
Open to boys and girls ages 4 and up. Groups will be organized by age and experience.
Objective
Learn to Play is designed to transition players of all ages from Learn to Skate to organized team hockey.
When can I join?
Full season Learn to Play runs from September 9th, 2023 to March 31st, 2024 but you can sign up anytime!!
Full Season - $600
November 4 to March 31 - $500
December 2 to March 31 $400
January 6 to March 31 - $300
February 3 to March 31- $200
March 2 to March 31 - $100
Practices and Games
Learn to Play Hockey (LTP) includes both Saturday morning skills practices and Sunday morning scrimmages at Worcester Ice Center.
Saturday - 9:40 AM
Sunday - 9:20 AM
*Some weeks may be different due to special events, holidays and ice conflicts. Sunday scrimmages begin after Thanksgiving. See calendar for complete schedule.
American Development Model
The Junior Railers Learn to Play Hockey program follows the USA Hockey American Development Model.
ADM Kids is a nationwide blueprint designed specifically to help kids reach their full potential through efficient skill development.
JERSEYS and Equipment
All players will receive a Junior Railers jersey at their first practice.
All players must wear full hockey equipment including a helmet with a facemask.
